Tammy found her love for hillwalking after giving birth to her second child in 2016. Like many mum's, Tammy found things really difficult and credits the outdoors for helping her to overcome her own mental health challenges.

‘I remember how hard things were being a mum again and although I had good family support, I wish I had someone outwith family I could talk too. I feel the work we do at Homestart is amazing! We support so many parents from all walks of life and empower them to start living a life that works for them. The support we offer is so varied and so important. It really makes a difference and is vital for many families around Perth and Kinross. I wanted to challenge myself and also give back to a local charity that is close to my heart. Im not just doing this because I work for Homestart, I am doing it because I truly believe in its cause.'

Tammy and her team will reach an ascent of 1690m (5540ft) and cover a distance of over 30km (20miles). It is estimated that it will take 10-12 hours to complete this challenge. So please dig deep and support the team to raise as much as they can for us!
