Over the years heart issues have impacted many of my family members, including both my parents and grandparents. More recently I have seen first-hand the positive impact of having defibrillators in my village available for all to use.

We have all seen footage of sports players from all levels collapsing on the pitch or heard stories of relatives and friends needing the emergency services. Many of us will have a member of our Tangent club that has needed help.

Any money we donate to the British Heart Foundation will go to support their vital work on research and supporting those affected by heart problems.
