Six years ago, The Cat Welfare Group was born from a shared passion — to make life safer, kinder, and fairer for cats in need.

In those six years, we’ve rescued, nursed, rehomed, cried, celebrated, and poured every ounce of love into the work we do.

We’ve seen heartbreak and hope; kittens found in bins, cats left behind when owners moved, mums giving birth in the cold but we’ve also seen the incredible strength of this community. Because of you, our volunteers, supporters, fosters, vets, donors, and adopters, thousands of cats now have the warm homes and bright futures they deserve.

From the sleepless nights and emergency call-outs, to the joy of every adoption update, this is what keeps us going.

So today, we celebrate six years of teamwork, compassion, and second chances.
