Since 1996 when we ran our first Tour de Furness, with a 13 mile route around low Furness and a 50 mile ride to Coniston and back we have managed to raise over half a million pounds for innumerable charities. Yes innumerable charities, selected by our riders. However since day one we and many of our riders have supported St Mary's Hospice, Ulverston to ensure that they continue doing their excellent work in our community despite little or no NHS support.
