With a royal coronation on the horizon, what better way to celebrate than with a tea party? Invite your loved ones, neighbours and colleagues to mark this historic occasion with tea (or coffee!), and your favourite selection of cucumber sandwiches and fairy cakes. Your fundraising event will support our mission to help men and women in communities in Africa create a long term, sustainable change to their livelihoods.
Your fundraising will support young people living in communities in Ghana, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Uganda and Zambia where, for those who have been unable to complete their education, it is already difficult to find employment and now the cost of living crisis is compounding economic problems.
Our vocational projects provide young people with real opportunities to find work.
We deliver training in trades such as carpentry, building, tailoring, motor mechanics and hairdressing, and our training schedules are designed to be flexible to fit around childcare and household responsibilities. Business skills mentoring sessions help our graduates transition to work or establish their own businesses, and access to Village Savings and Loans schemes provides start-up capital. Quality tools, donated by our supporters and refurbished by our volunteers, enable graduates to hit the ground running in their chosen trade.
Your donations make all this happen and with match funding secured for the first £10,000 of Tea for Tools donations, your gift will make a difference now than ever before.
