We would love if you would sponsor our brave Yorkshire Three Peak Challengers whose goal is to raise money for both Tealby School and Cancer Research UK by walking 24-miles (38.6km), including 1585m (5200ft) of up (!!) in 12 hours... or less.

We would like to raise a lot of money, much more than our normal movie nights or mother's day stalls could ever hope to bring in.... because we have a challenge...

Firstly, we have been asked to fund a brand new, revamped library which will be used by the whole school. With the help of our young school ambassadors, each class has offered insight and suggestions of what the new library will need; such as new low-level shelving, comfortable seating, chillout zones and sensory items, a few cozy reading corners, better targeted lighting and it all needs to be encompassed in an inspiring and colourful room design.

As well as funding the new school library, our Y3P Challengers would like half of money raised to go to Cancer Research. Over the past year or so, a few members of our school community have seen the heartbreak families and individuals face when cancer hits. With a staggering statistic of 1 in 2 people in the UK likely to develop cancer, we would like some of the money raised to go to Cancer Research to help them continue their fight against cancer and the causes of cancer.
