DKC @ Derby 10K 2025!

Team DKC is back for another year at the Derby 10K! We’ll be hitting the streets of Derby once again (at varying speeds!)—all to raise vital funds for free holidays for the Derbyshire children who need them the most.

💛 Every step we take helps change a child’s life!

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Some of us are speedy, some of us are… less so! But every mile we cover is for a fantastic cause: giving over 300 local children a well-deserved break from the challenges they face daily.

Why we run:

This summer, Derby Kids’ Camp will provide free holidays to children dealing with bereavement, mental health struggles, financial hardship, and other difficulties. These holidays allow them to enjoy new experiences, make friends, build confidence, and create special childhood memories.

Over the last 50+ years, we’ve given over 16,000 children an unforgettable holiday—run entirely by incredible volunteers.

Your donation makes a real difference.

It costs just £245 to give one child a full week of adventure, friendship, and fun. In 2025, we’re aiming to provide holidays for over 300 children, ensuring they get the break they deserve.

Our camp is run entirely by volunteers, meaning every penny raised goes directly towards making a difference for a young child. Your support will help us bring joy, confidence, and lifelong memories to children who need it the most.
