Bridging Generations at Perley Health!

Perley Health is a community where over 600 Seniors and Veterans thrive - from independent living to long-term care. We support each resident with a person and family-centric approach to the continuum of care to improve not only their physical well-being but their mental and emotional health, which is why all funds donated to Team Perley Health through the 2026 Ottawa Race Weekend will fund our exciting campaign, Bridging Generations. Canada's first ever dementia friendly Intergenerational Childcare Program!

Picture a warm, sunlit room filled with smiles and laughter. In one corner, a Veteran gently guides a child’s hand as they look at a photo album, sharing stories of his youth while the child listens with wide eyes.

Across the room, a group of toddlers gathers around a great-grandmother, mesmerized as she reads them a story. Nearby, an educator smiles as she watches a little girl eagerly showing a Grandfather a puzzle she is working on.

With your support, the Bridging Generations campaign will raise $2 million to expand and transform Perley Health’s intergenerational program. This funding will enable Perley Health to create purpose-built spaces where interactions between seniors, Veterans and children flourish— spaces designed with warmth, accessibility, and community in mind.
