Sail around the stunning British coastline, taking in the beautiful scenery and wildlife, experience challenges of tidal currents, rocks and sand banks, and entering historical ports from the sea. All this whilst being part of a fundraising team.

Seven weeks, seven legs from 4 May to 22 June #TeamElla will sail around the coast of Britain, seven teams of different skills and abilities will navigate the coast, having an amazing adventure.

The Ella Dawson Foundation supports young people 18 -30 with a cancer diagnosis

Our mission is that every young adult diagnosed with cancer and their families and carers have the tools and support they need to live well and to feel empowered.

At a time when young lives are turned upside down, we work alongside a team of experts to enable young people, their families and carers, access to tailored psychological, emotional, physical and nutritional wellbeing support packages at any stage of their cancer diagnosis within a safe supporting and likeminded community. Our approach focuses on providing personalised, one-to-one support that meets individual’s needs. This includes clinical psychology, counselling, exercise and movement programs, nutrition guidance, and well-being interventions. Adjusting to a cancer diagnosis can lead to overwhelming feelings of worry, anxiety, fear, sadness, shock, disbelief, loneliness, anger and resentment. We provide a range of support tools and techniques which help young people understand, grow in confidence and make positive steps towards their emotional wellbeing.
