We're fundraising for MDUK as both myself and my daughter Aliyah live with the muscle-wasting condition Bethlem Myopathy. It's a cause close to our hearts and I want to raise as much as possible for research into future treatments. There's no cure for any type of muscular dystrophy, and most conditions get worse over time, which means it's harder and harder to get about and cope with the symptoms.

My amazing friends and family are taking on the skydive on my behalf! They have experienced all the hardships and challenges myself, my daughter and my family have faced and will continue to face. They want to have this experience whilst raising as much money as possible to increase awareness of muscular dystrophy but ultimately to contribute towards the research of and hopefully the cure for muscular dystrophy.

This will be the first time for all of them and they are pretty nervous but some are real thrill-seekers!
