The Michael Charles Adams (MCA) MBE Memorial Trust aids and assists local children with all forms of cancer. We are in partnership with various NHS Trust’s, to help grant children with cancer a special wish, or a donate a piece of equipment to help make their lives a little easier or special.

Story

The MCA Trust are honoured to be the chosen charity for a self-organised Wales 4 Peaks Challenge, with a team of Plumpton College colleagues and friends beginning the expedition on Thursday 30th May 2024. On Day 1, the team are climbing Tryfan, Glyder Fach and Glyder Faw - following up with Snowdon on Day 2.

The funds raised from this self-led challenge will be funnelled towards supporting the children oncology wards within Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital in Brighton - an organisation close to the team's hearts.

"A self-led adventure, with an 8-person team climbing 4 of Wales' highest peaks; Tryfan, Glyder Fach and Glyder Faw - finishing with the picturesque Snowdon. A huge thanks for your generosity in supporting our challenge"

Any amount donated, from £1 to £1,000 will go directly towards the life-changing work the MCA Trust carries out daily. Were so proud to be working tirelessly to protect our 97.6p in every £1 donated to the MCA Trust going directly to the children and families we support.

In 2024, the MCA Trust's Education & Careers Scheme will be launching - your support will be going directly towards this ground-breaking initiative to help fill any education gaps in children that may arise through cancer treatments.

Gina hugely appreciates your generosity, and on behalf of everyone at The MCA Trust, thank you.
