By taking part, you'll be making a real difference to the lives of sanctuary seekers in Wales.
Raise awareness, support our important work, and spread kindness 💙
"Oasis was the first place that embraced us in the UK. After 12 years of moving from one place to another, leaving our homeland behind torn by war, Oasis felt like family."
Oasis is a community space in the heart of Cardiff, which gives a warm Welsh welcome to around 2500 people seeking sanctuary (asylum seekers and refugees) per year across South Wales. We empower them to reach their aspirations for themselves and their families by providing;
💙 access to the essentials
💙 education and career pathways
💙 community integration activities to build relationships at Oasis and in their local communities
💙 opportunities to influence the services and systems that impact their lives

£25 can pay for someone to attend English classes for one week.
£50 can pay for the food to prepare a nutritious lunchtime meal for 90 - 150 people.
£100 can pay for someone to have ongoing support from one of our specialist Integration Caseworkers.
Every penny raised enables Oasis to help asylum seekers and refugees develop skills and confidence and access vital services, creating a safe and welcoming community centre in the heart of Cardiff.
“It’s a place to be ‘you’ and feel love and acceptance. We all came here with a lot of scars from violence, wars and worse and all we need is a safe loving space.”
