I ride RAGBRAI to fundraise for UIU’s Study Abroad program so students can experience the world. Where have we traveled over the years? Guatemala, Puerto Rico, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Germany, Switzerland, and Iceland. We are tentatively considering Prague and/or Greece for 2027. I have led these trips for over fifteen years and care for the students as if they were my own, especially since this program is likely the first time our students have traveled abroad. The money raised will go toward UIU-covered trip expenses, and we will provide scholarships to students (defraying the cost they pay) if we exceed the threshold amount.
