Story
Growing up with a deep love for the outdoors, I found purpose in the quiet of the woods, the challenge of the trail, and the responsibility of caring for the land. From camping and hiking to hunting and planting trees, the outdoors has shaped who I am.
As a proud veteran of the United States military, I carry forward the values of service, leadership, and commitment in everything I do. My dedication to serving others continues as a member of my local volunteer fire service, a member of the American Legion, and the Sons of the American Legion. Service to the community isn’t just something I believe in — it’s a way of life.
Today, I’m honored to continue that mission through my work with Fayette County Conservation, where I strive to protect and improve our natural spaces for future generations.
But my greatest passion goes beyond conservation — it’s connection. I believe every student deserves the opportunity to experience the outdoors firsthand: to learn beneath open skies, to build confidence on the trail, and to develop respect for the land through real-world experience.
I am raising funds to provide essential outdoor equipment, such as chainsaws and chainsaw chaps, so students can safely explore, learn, and grow outside the classroom. Your support isn’t just funding gear — it’s investing in leadership, resilience, and a lifelong appreciation for the natural world.
Together, we can give the next generation of UIU students the tools they need to explore boldly, learn deeply, and carry forward a love for all things outdoors!
