Story

Funds raised will enable another 180 children with autism and other neurodiverse conditions play weekly football in our Team United programme.

For young people with autism, stepping onto a football pitch can feel like entering a world that’s not designed for them. Team United’s programmes help these young people to learn more than just the game – they find confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging on and off the pitch.

Key facts

Date: Sunday 5th of May

Time: From 8am

Start point: Hampden Stadium

End point: Easter Road Stadium (and celebration!)

Distance: 50.2 miles using on-road and cycle paths

Event details

· Entry fee £25 and pledge to raise a fundraising target of £90 + £2 per rider.

· Take part as individual or a team of four to six riders. Riders must be a minimum age of 16.

· For safety reasons, the cycle is being capped at 100 participants.

· Teams will be accompanied by experienced road cyclists from start to finish.

· Refreshment & cycle repair stations on route.

· Celebration event + professional photographs organised at finish in Easter Road stadium.

· Prizes for top fundraisers.
