Story

15 acts will perform on the night to help raise awareness and much needed funds for those facing homelessness in Galway.

There will be 2 awards on the night - Judges Choice & The Simon Award. The Judges Choice will be awarded to the act who dazzles the judges on the night with their performance while the Simon award will go to the act who raises the most amount of funds in the lead up to the event.

With homelessness in the west growing faster than the national average, a private sector that continues to spiral out of control, and a housing supply that is inadequate to meet the current demand, the need for a focus on prevention has never been greater!

100% of funds raised in the lead up to the event will be used effectively to tackle homelessness in West.

With your donations we can come together and raise vital funds and help those facing homelessness in Galway. If you would like to buy a ticket for the show you can do so using the following link:

About the charity

Galway Simon was set up in 1979 by volunteers who refused to accept homelessness on the streets of Galway. With the support of the wider community, we have grown, learned and adapted over the years to become a leading provider of homeless and homelessness prevention services in the region.
