At Teddy’s Pre-School, we believe every child deserves the chance to explore, play and grow in nature.

But for many of the children we support, that simply isn’t their reality.

🧸 A Childhood Without Green Space

Teddy’s Pre-School supports families living in one of the most disadvantaged areas of Bournemouth. Many children grow up in flats with no garden, no safe outdoor space and very limited opportunities to experience nature.

“Some of our children have never planted a seed or seen something grow. That’s something we want to change.”

🌿 Our Vision: A Nature Nurture Garden

We want to transform an unused, grey space into a vibrant, living garden.

A place filled with:

Flowers, vegetables and wildlife

Sensory play areas to support development

A buddy bench where friendships can grow

A book-sharing space for families

This will become more than just a garden.

It will be an outdoor classroom, a safe haven and a place of joy.
