Fifty years ago, The Door was founded with the vision of creating an innovative and holistic model to address the complex needs of young New Yorkers. The integrated approach enables young people to move independently among our wide range of program offers. These services span across four New York City (NYC) locations, including our main site in SoHo, two supportive housing sites on the Lower East Side, and a satellite location in the South Bronx, the Bronx Youth Center (BYC).
