Story
Like many people, our first contact with Brain Tumour Support came after Chris received his diagnosis of a glioblastoma. Sadly, after a 15 months battle with the condition, Chris passed away at home on the 29th August 2019 aged 67.
Chris' wife Annie and his family and friends felt they needed to do something positive in Chris' name as he had spent his whole life helping others. Even at the end, Chris chose to bequeath his body to medical science at Bristol University.
Chris' pals at work used to call him Dicky Mint after one of Ken Dodd's Diddy Men characters. So we decided to call ourselves the Dicky Mint Fundraisers. We have already held a jumble sale and cake sale and we have other events planned for 2020.
The work of Brain Tumour Support is invaluable, so please support this amazing cause.
