The Memorial in its present form has existed since 2003 and is now in great need of some re-design work. We are running out of space to add names in the future and we wish to make the whole structure more relevant in depicting the fire service going back in time to the 1700s which is the period when we record the first name in our online Book of Remembrance.

To achieve this and to make the Memorial an even greater tribute to those we seek to remember and honour, we need to raise £100k.
