As you all know, we are well under way with building the new Nursery which will open in September and welcome the first intake of children! We are very excited about this project and know it will really benefit future generations to come.

However, we really need your help!

The school has been given S106 funding towards this project (which is costing nearly £700,000) but not enough to support the full costs. The school has already contributed substantial amounts towards the build to get this project off the ground. However, the plans had to be cut back due to the extreme rising costs of building works in the current economic climate (40% rise) and no further funding being available. We are pleased to say that the build is currently underway and will be completed and will open as planned.

We are now fundraising and appealing for support from local families, businesses and charities to help equip and resource the new Nursery as our funding does not stretch to cover this. We want to put the best new equipment and resources into the new Nursery and would really like your support. We aim to raise £20,000!

It will all be spent on things like furniture and early years learning resources, inclusive provision for SEND children, including fitting out sensory areas and other specialist resources. We want to develop the outdoor area too and add some amazing new equipment for children to learn through play in their early years.

Please, please help us to create the best Nursery for our community!
