Story
Malachi loves to live life to the full and have adventures but needs support to be able to do this.
Malachi is 10. He suffered a brain injury as a result of RSV and sepsis aged 6 weeks. He has epilepsy, cerebral palsy, is severely sight impaired and has eating and sleeping issues.
Despite a very negative prognosis after his brain injury he has progressed more than we could ever have imagined. He can talk, bottom scoot, is learning to walk and drives his own powerchair!
Malachi is cheeky and full of fun. He loves being outdoors and he loves any type of machine! Malachi loves to live life as adventurously as possible. He is a speed, thrill and excitement seeker! “Faster, Higher, More” is his motto for life.
Malachi needs lots of therapy and equipment to be able to live as fully as possible. In particular physio, hippo (horse) and hydrotherapy are key to him retaining and developing movement. Malachi has expressed a desire to walk 'on my own' and we are committed to helping him and therapy is the best way that we can do this.
