We’re Walking for Headway Essex This September

This September, we will be taking on a walking challenge with a difference to raise money for Headway Essex and support people living with the life-changing effects of brain injury.

As part of the challenge, our steps will be transformed into a virtual holiday route, taking us to exciting landmarks and dream destinations along the way.

Every step we take throughout the month will help raise funds so Headway Essex can continue providing specialist services, rehabilitation, social activities and support for brain injury survivors and their families across Essex. Brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time, and the right support can make a huge difference to rebuilding confidence, independence and quality of life.

Better still, the Fun Walk Trust provides a special bonus fund through generous corporate sponsors, meaning your fundraising will be topped up, making every donation go even further.

Thanks to the Fun Walk Trust, participating charities receive a share of a bonus fund based on the sponsorship they raise. In 2025, charities received an additional £35 for every £100 raised, meaning every donation has the potential to make an even bigger impact.
