Story
We have an amazing INCLUSIVE football club (The DCF FC) which has recently won the Inclusion and Equality award from Dorset FA and the National McDonalds Award for 'Project of the Year'.
Our football sessions are very relaxed and we encourage the children to take everything at their own pace. There's no pressure to do anything that they don't want to.
We accommodate wheelchair users and of course any other physical barriers; we have wheelchair footballs and we adapt the activities so the wheelchair users can join in so that all children are taking part TOGETHER.
We encourage children to come along and take it at their own pace. Maybe sit on the sidelines and watch for the first couple of sessions, siblings are very welcome too.
We are delighted that we are now able to restart our Sunday sessions in full compliance with Covid-19 guidelines.
The concept and aim of the sessions will be as before, based on fun, inclusion and participation.
In order to run these sessions we have to pay pitch fees, buy specialist equipment (a wheelchair football is £80), pay for FA Coach Training, and purchase kit, so any help would be gratefully received.
All our wonderful Coaches and Assistants work on a completely voluntary basis.
Please give generously to support our amazing club.
