The Goat Project provides families with a milking goat and a goat house to keep the goat safe at night. This provides families with the opportunity to earn a small regular income through the sale of the goats milk. A goat house costs £135 and a goat costs £95, a total of £230 per family. This project is currently helping 28 families, and the community is really happy with this project, it gives families with so little some pride, purpose and ambition. It helps them to provide for their family, and in particular provide the basic needs, such as food, soap and clothes. There are another 31 families we would love to help through this project, costing a total of £7,130.
