I have been attending the Contemporary Textiles course at the Guild for Lifelong Learning for 5 years now. It has become the highlight of my week. I moved to this area 6 years ago and wanted to learn new skills whilst meeting people with similar interests. When Lockdown prevented us attending live sessions, Anne Glynis Davies continued the course online using Skype, then Zoom. It was wonderful to continue to learn new skills whilst keeping in contact with friends on the course. Now we are back meeting together live. There are so many interesting courses at the Guild. I have done a one-day Jewellery Workshop and would look to do other courses when I have time.Thank you to all the staff at the Guild who make this possible.
