The Harlequins Foundation have partnered with the BearCat Running Club, which is a local a running Club in association with Fullers.
The Turks Head 10k is a fun run event starting and finishing at Marble Hill Park and using the towpath along the river Thames in a circular route via Twickenham Riverside, Teddington Lock Bridge, Ham House, Petersham Fields and Richmond Bridge.
This will take place on Sunday 11th June at 10am.
This event is a massive community event in the local Twickenham and Teddington area and post run there will be an event at The Turks Head where a BBQ, prize giving, live music, and lots more will take place.
By fundraising for The Harlequins Foundation you can make an impact in supporting those in our heartlands. For example:
£500 would pay for 1 x Rugby in a Box package including all rugby equipment and training manuals in the Essential Skills framework for 20 participants.
£800 would pay for 1 x Rugby in a Box package and 1 x 6-week SWITCH rugby course in which a group of 20 girls gets access to learning to play girls-only rugby and are inspired to play sport more often.
£1,000 would pay for 1 x Rugby in a Box (as above), 1 x 6-week SWITCH rugby course for 20 girls (as above), and 1 x Mettle course aimed at developing the mental resilience of 20 youth in 4 areas namely relationships, emotions, self-care and physical activity.
