Story
The Joshua Tree is a charity dedicated to supporting families affected by childhood cancer. Our services are designed to improve the emotional health and wellbeing of families navigating the challenges of diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and bereavement, ensuring that no family faces this journey alone.
Our family-focused support extends to children, parents, and siblings, recognising the profound impact cancer has on every member of the family. We offer counselling, therapeutic activities, peer support groups, family fun events, and educational guidance.
Our support centres in Cheshire and Colwyn Bay provide safe, welcoming spaces where families can access tailored services designed to uplift, empower, and provide hope during difficult times.
Driven by compassion and a commitment to making a difference, The Joshua Tree relies on the generosity of supporters, volunteers, and corporate partners to help continue delivering these essential services. Together, we create lasting memories, emotional resilience, and brighter futures for families facing childhood cancers.
Walk Tall for The Joshua Tree is a walking event that brings together families affected by childhood cancer, alongside friends and supporters of the charity, in a powerful show of unity and strength.
Taking place on Saturday 5th September, this inspiring challenge isn’t just a walk, it’s a shared journey. A tribute to the courage of children and families living through and beyond childhood cancer.
Whether participants walk in honour of a loved one, to support our mission, or as part of their own healing, Walk Tall is an opportunity to stand shoulder to shoulder with a community that truly understands.
