Since 1995 we have been helping the people of Teesside to take care of their mental health. We help over 15,000 local people every year and the demand is ever growing.

On the 20th of June 2023 Students and teachers from The Kings Academy will be hosting and taking part in the 'happiest run on earth' on behalf of our Charity and we couldn't be more grateful....

The Kings Academy Year 10 Premier League Changemakers have partnered up with MFC Foundation to raise money for Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind.

The PLC delivered by MFC Foundation, aims to empower and inspire young females, whilst developing their leadership qualities. The Changemakers as part of the programme, wanted to take part in community in action project, to give back to the local area. Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind were at the heart of their decisions, as the charity supports over 15,00 local people every year to achieve better mental health.

As a result, The Premier League Changemakers wanted to offer the opportunity for students and staff to take part in its first ever Colour Run! This is to be held on Tuesday 20th June 4-5pm held on the school fields for an optional 1-5km run. The Colour Run, also known as the happiest run on the planet, is a unique event that celebrates healthiness, happiness and individuality. Now the largest running series in the world. The run has been experienced by over 7 million runners and walkers worldwide in 40+ countries. It is an event everyone at The Kings Academy can take part in, its less competitive unlike other runs and its all about having fun and getting covered in paint whilst raising money for such a worthy cause!
