Join us to light up the night for St Peter's Hospice
On Saturday 18 June 2022, we'll be coming together to walk 5 or 10 miles through Bristol as the sun sets, completing the distance overnight to raise vital funds to support St Peter's Hospice. Together, we'll pass the lights reflecting in the harbour, take in the iconic lit up suspension bridge, and see our city in a whole new light.
At the same time, there will be walkers completing the distance in their local areas, so everyone across the UK can be part of this fundraiser.
At this sponsored walk, every step makes a difference for the patients and families who need our care through the most difficult of times, day and night.
How our fundraising will help
As we walk through the night, our nurses and support team are helping patients and answering calls through our 24 hour Advice Line even in the middle of the night.
St Peter's Hospice is a local charity that provides care and support to adults who are living with a progressive life-limiting illness in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area. We provide care, advice, support and therapy to patients and their families during the most difficult and challenging of times.
The nurses just slotted in. They were like old friends, even the ones who only visited a couple of times. They were completely professional but so natural. It never felt like an intrusion having them there. They not only supported Mum but me as well"
The total we're raising in sponsorship and donations will make a real difference for so many. It provides advice at the other end of the phone 24/7, a comforting hand and a nurse on the doorstep when and where it's needed most.
