The Hospice Hundred

Cycle 100 miles in aid of HospiceCare

Closes 31/01/2026

HospiceCare supports adults (18+) and families in North Northumberland facing life-limiting illness. We offer free palliative care through Hospice at Home, dementia care and support, and family and bereavement services—providing practical help and emotional comfort when it’s needed most.

Story

This January, we're taking on a big challenge:

The Hospice Hundred

We're each committing to cycling 100 miles over the month to raise vital funds for HospiceCare North Northumberland.

We have the entire month of January to reach our individual 100-mile targets, so every mile we pedal is a step toward making a real difference. We’ll be tracking our progress and sharing updates on our journey as a team

HospiceCare is the local Hospice at Home charity for North Northumberland serving a population of over 65,000. We deliver practical and emotional care and support to adults living with a terminal illness requiring palliative input and end-of-life care. We also offer support to their families and carers.

HospiceCare also provides Bereavement and Dementia Support services which are accessed via self-referral. There is no charge at the point of delivery for our services which will cost the Hospice around £1.5m this year.

Please consider making a donation to help us reach our goal. Every pound you give makes a real difference. Thank you so much for your support!
