Story
Oliver is our amazing 12-year-old from Liverpool, born with Lissencephaly, drug-resistant epilepsy, and global developmental delay. He is non-verbal, wheelchair-bound, and needs full support every day. Despite this, he fills our lives with joy — he loves music, lights, bubbles, animals, and Mickey Mouse, and his smile lights up every room.
Oliver has been struggling with tightness in his bicep and leg. After breaking his leg during a seizure, he cannot fully straighten it, which is affecting his foot and tightening his Achilles. This makes it harder to fit his splint, and if it continues, he risks losing access to his standing frame, which is vital for his health and mobility. The specialist therapy he needs is not available through the NHS.
Just4Children are raising funds for specialist private therapies and adaptive equipment, including:
• Multi-therapy sessions (whole-body vibration, red-light therapy, reflex integration, CFT, and DMI-style movement)
• Specialist equipment for mobility, positioning, and comfort
These therapies help Oliver reduce pain and tightness, improve flexibility, and maintain his mobility and independence. Each session is tailored to his energy and comfort.
Every donation, big or small, will help Oliver move more comfortably, prevent further complications, and enjoy everyday life. Please join us in supporting his journey and giving him every opportunity to thrive.
