Established in memory of Emma Aindow-Gregory, The Orange Foundation is here to provide practical support to people living with cancer. We have five pillars of support, which can be viewed on our website: www.theorange-foundation.org

Story

The Orange Foundation was established in memory of Emma Aindow-Gregory who lived with bowel cancer for four and a half years. During that time her escape from the disease was Henry, her beloved gypsy cob. He was her sanctuary from the endless anxiety of living with the disease.

Emma loved nothing more than spending time with him, and going away on horsey holidays with her band of friends called the hardcore hackers! :-)

She was planning on entering more shows with Henry, competing in endurance events and scoping out more holidays to have. Unfortunately that was not to be.

Emma passed away on the 30th December at St Catherine's Hospice in Preston, just two days after being visited by Henry at the hospice. Their final moments together were beautiful, both knowing that it was the last time they would see one another.

To celebrate her life and passion for all things equine, we hope that the Orange Fun Showing Show will be just that.
