Undernutrition is the underlying cause of 45% of all child deaths globally and, in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia, nearly 4 in 10 children are growing up suffering from stunting. This is a chronic condition that limits children's physical and cognitive development, with lifelong health consequences.

The Power of Nutrition strives to achieve a world where every child has access to good nutrition. Better nutrition helps to transform children's health, education and livelihoods, and contributes to building stronger and more prosperous communities. Our programmes in Tanzania, Liberia, Ethiopia, Côte d'Ivoire, Rwanda, Madagascar, Benin, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, India and Indonesia are helping to save lives and break the cycle of undernutrition. We have already helped over 28 million mothers and children to access vital nutrition services.

This Giving Tuesday, we welcome your support to help tackle child undernutrition and unlock children's potential. Our funding model means that any donation you make will be multipled by four, in order to have the greatest impact. Your support will help us to reach an additional 17 million children and 18 million women, protecting 600,000 children from stunting, saving 60,000 lives and preventing 1.5 million cases of maternal anaemia.
