The Rainbow Centre for Children was founded over 30 years ago and is the only organisation in Bristol and the surrounding areas providing free and professional support to children, young people and their families affected by bereavement. Our small charity is a lifeline for those in crisis that would often have nowhere else to turn.
From our welcoming Victorian premises on a leafy street in Knowle we provide a wide range of specialised services to suit the needs of each individual child and their family including one-to-one counselling, art, drama and play therapies, facilitated family and youth workshops, family fun days and advisory services.
There is a high demand for our tailored services and we endeavour to continue supporting those in need and hope to reach a day where no child will have to experience grief alone.
We cannot achieve this on our own and as we receive no statutory funding we rely solely on the kind support of others and thank you for any donation that you may be able to provide.
We would just like to express our gratitude to you and the Rainbow Centre for the work you do as we travel through and adjust to this blackest and bleakest thing. We are grateful that places like The Rainbow Centre exist.
