Story

Kai is a happy, sociable and very bright boy, who in spite of his physical difficulties is determined to be as independent as possible and keen to learn new things.

Kai has Cerebral Palsy affecting his four limbs and speech, and is unable to walk, talk or use his hands. Due to a considerable high level of support both at home and in his school pre-school setting, Kai has learned to communicate his needs using eye-pointing, particular sounds gestures, and some words.

Due his complex physical needs and limited communication skills, Kai relies on adult support for the majority of times for his daily care needs, to promote his physical needs, support his communication and to help him access learning.

Long term goal of this campaign is to provide Kai with a wheelchair-accessible car, suitable for long trips with his brother, offering him the freedom to explore the world.

In the meantime, Kai requires specialized equipment tailored to his unique needs and access to ongoing therapy is crucial for Kai's physical well-being.

Your contribution will help him acquire the tools necessary for everyday tasks, enhancing his quality of life and achieving his goals.

Thank you.
