The wonderful Therfield Village Preschool is currently fundraising to brighten up and refresh its small outdoor space. We know that getting outside, even for a small time every day, is beneficial to our health. Children play harder outdoors than indoors, and time spent outdoors promotes curiosity, creativity and critical thinking, it is also linked with improved motor development and learning outcomes.

As a non-profit charity, we rely solely on fundraising and the kind support of our local community for these sorts of projects and are limited in our ability to purchase things we know the children would love and greatly benefit from. Our aim would be to create a multi-use space, full of nature and nurture areas and amazing things for the children to play and learn with! Unfortunately, these add up to over £10,000! Well outside the scope of our little charity.

We will have to purchase a few of the items from new and should anyone like to donate any amount, no matter how small, towards these we can send further details of what your money will go towards.
