The Sky's the limit!
Donate to our Sky Divers who are jumping for rescue animals.
On Saturday 4th July 2020 a group of five ladies made up of volunteers and Margaret Green Animal Rescue staff will be taking a leap of faith by doing a Sky dive all in aid of rescue animals.
The jump, which is taking place at GoSkydive, Old Sarum Park, Salisbury SP4 6EB is being self-funded by the jumpers so that all the sponsorship money raised is in aid of the charity, which is fabulous.
Those taking part are Sarah, Ella, Jan, Liz and Chrissy who will all be doing a 10,000ft jump (and who knows they may even upgrade to a 15,000ft jump!), which is a brave undertaking as none of them have ever done a sky dive before!
Sarah, one of our volunteers commented on how she feels about getting involved and why she is taking on the challenge
"I must be insane not a fan of flying, heights and have a great fear of falling can climb up most things but struggle coming back down coming back down Lincoln cathedral on my behind step by step. So, why put yourself through this ordeal I hear you ask, well I like a challenge or perhaps I am just completely mad! The things I do for Margaret Green Animal Rescue has just stepped up to another level. This is definitely doing something totally out of my comfort zone and therefore ask if you can spare some pounds to sponsor me and the rest of the group we, and the animals, would be ever so grateful".
Every penny raised by these brave ladies will go directly to helping care for over 1,200 animals at our rescue centres in Dorset and Devon so, dig deep and give the team the 'lift' to get airborne.
