Story
🌄 Three Peaks. 24 Hours. One Mission: Children’s Mental Health
Across the Cheddar Valley, more children and young people are struggling with anxiety, low mood, school pressures and overwhelming challenges. The Space is often the first place families turn when they need help and demand is rising fast.
This October, a team from The Space and Coffee @ The Hub are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise vital funds so no child faces their struggles alone.
💬 Why We’re Climbing
“Every day we see young people who just need someone to listen, support and guide them. This challenge is our way of showing up for them step by step, peak by peak."
The Three Peaks Challenge is one of the UK’s toughest endurance events:
Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside.
Three mountains.
Twenty‑four hours.
A test of resilience, teamwork and sheer determination.
Our team is pushing themselves to the limit because the children we support often have to do the same.
💛 What Your Donation Supports
Every pound raised goes directly towards supporting local children and young people through:
Counselling and play therapy
Youth groups and safe spaces
Early‑intervention mental health support
Creative wellbeing sessions
Family support and guidance
Your donation helps us reach young people who might otherwise fall through the gaps.
📣 Follow the Journey
We’ll be sharing updates, photos and stories throughout the challenge.
