Children aren’t born violent. Those we support suffer from childhood abuse and neglect, followed by poverty, discrimination and a lack of support. Shame and despair draw them into gangs and crime. With your help, we can reach out, providing support and opportunities to transform their lives.

Story

VIP deliver therapeutic outreach support for young people involved in Serious Youth Violence (SYV) and gangs. The aim of our work is to develop therapeutic relationships with vulnerable young people outside of conventional clinical settings. We believe that helping young people develop an ability to discuss, label and regulate their emotions is fundamental in helping young people live healthy, safe and violence free lives
