Story

Celebrating 20 Years of Inclusive Arts with The Habbit Factory!

Introduction:

Join us as we celebrate two decades of inclusivity, creativity, and empowerment with The Habbit Factory! Since 2004, we've been dedicated to promoting change and inclusivity through the arts in the London Borough of Havering.

The Habbit Factory is not just an arts organisation; it's a beacon of hope and inclusivity in our community. Our philosophy revolves around the belief that everyone, regardless of their abilities or background, deserves to shine. As we approach our 20th birthday, we reflect on the countless lives we've touched and the transformative power of the arts.

"The world could learn a lot from this small charity with a big heart."

Inclusivity in Action:

We don't just talk about inclusivity; we live it every day. From our motto, "where everyone can have their moment in the spotlight," to our approach of not conducting auditions, inclusivity is at the core of everything we do. We collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds, challenging stigma through performances that entertain and inspire.

BBC London Feature:

Our commitment to inclusivity recently caught the attention of BBC London, shining a spotlight on our work and the impact we've had on the community. This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our team and the support of our community. You can find that here https://www.thehabbitfactory.org/

Programs and Impact:

Through our membership program, educational workshops, and performances, we reach over 450 children and young people weekly. We provide a lifeline for those facing societal and financial disadvantages, offering a safe space for creativity and self-expression.

Funding Goals:

As we embark on our 20th birthday fundraising journey, we aim to raise £2000 to continue our mission of inclusivity and empowerment. Your donation of £20 can make a significant impact, helping us reach our goal and continue changing lives through the power of the arts.

How You Can Help?

Join our campaign by donating £20 towards our 20th birthday celebration. Your contribution will enable us to reach more individuals, break down barriers, and create a more inclusive world through the arts.
