This summer, the Take Her Lead Champions will take on the Believers Cricket Club in a one-of-a-kind charity exhibition match raising funds and awareness for women and girls in cricket.
The Take Her Lead Champions are a side made up of elite and semi-elite female cricketers brought together to celebrate, showcase and support the women’s game, and to help create greater opportunity for the next generation.

While women’s cricket continues to grow rapidly, access, visibility and opportunity still remain unequal for far too many women and girls.
Founded by former England cricketer and broadcaster, Isa Guha, MBE, Take Her Lead exists to increase participation, progression and belonging for women and girls in cricket through greater access to opportunities, support, facilities and visibility.
Standing opposite the Champions will be one of cricket’s most unconventional teams.
The Believers Cricket Club is a London-based amateur men’s side built on a shared love for the game - not talent, status or results.

Made up of players "who didn’t make the cut elsewhere", their journey began when their captain, realising he’d never play for his own country, decided to find out if he could play against another instead, emailing more than 50 nations in search of a match.
Since then, the Believers have faced the national teams of Romania, Slovenia and The Gambia, securing their first international win along the way. Their story - from misfields to milestones - is now becoming the subject of an upcoming documentary and book. In 2027, the Believers will continue their journey by taking on the Brazil Women’s National Team - a reflection of their growing commitment to supporting and spotlighting women’s cricket.
Now, they’re using their platform to help support women’s grassroots cricket through this special match in partnership with Take Her Lead.
This event is about more than cricket.
It’s about visibility.
Opportunity.
Belonging.
And showing what’s possible when people come together to support the future of women and girls in sport.
Every donation will help Take Her Lead continue its work supporting women and girls in cricket.
Thank you for believing with us.
