The Hale Community Centre will be at the heart of the community providing a sustainable, secure and welcoming space that is valued and supported by the people of Upper Hale and the surrounding area. We do this by providing a safe, welcoming and inspiring space where the whole community are encouraged and supported to thrive.

Story

We’re walking for Hale — for our centre, our neighbours, and the heart of our community.

Three of our Magnificent Trustees – Catherine, Janice and Norma – together with family and friends – are joining the National Beacon of Peace Charity Walk 2026 on Sunday 21st June to raise vital funds for the Hale Community & Youth Centre.

Every penny you give goes directly into keeping the Hale Community & Youth Centre alive and thriving. Your support fuels our programmes, maintains our building, and helps us deliver the activities and services that our community depends on.

The centre is a cornerstone of local life — offering youth sessions, community groups, outreach, holiday activities, social events and practical support for people of all ages. It’s a place where friendships form, confidence grows and the community comes together.

We have no guaranteed long term funding. That means your donation has immediate impact. If you’re able to give, you’ll be helping to protect a space that truly matters to local people.

Thank you for supporting our walkers — and for standing with our community.
