The Children and Babies Fund supports services for babies, children and young people across Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals, including Rainbow Ward, the Neonatal Unit, Paediatric Accident & Emergency and Paediatric Outpatients.

Donations help enhance care and patient experience by funding specialist equipment, improvements to hospital environments and resources that provide comfort, distraction and support during hospital stays.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the fund has provided equipment and resources including incubators, training manikins, specialist chairs, sensory spaces, Calm Cart resources and art supplies. Donations have also funded clinical equipment such as FeNO machines, Intellivue monitors, videolaryngoscopes and audiometers, supporting the delivery of high-quality care for babies, children and young people.

Every donation and fundraising effort helps us continue to improve services and make a real difference to patients and their families.
