Sponsor a sponge!

The role of a chair of governors is a prestigious one which must be comported with utmost dignity. That is why, on 19th July, I will be in the stocks at Hexthorpe Academy's Summer Fayre having wet sponges thrown at me.

This isn't just good fun for the pupils, it is to help raise money to support the schools incredible efforts to support our Hexthorpe community. As you will see, it goes well beyond offering a brilliant education and aims to ensure that all children are safe and ready to learn in school.

You can sponsor a sponge for just £2, or six for £10. This will mean that children who might not have much money to bring to the fayre still get to take part and will raise vital funds for the school.
