Story

Help Support Our Breast Cancer Appeal!

Every day, West Herts Hospitals depend on charitable support to make a difference in the lives of patients. Right now, West Herts Hospitals Charity is on a mission to raise £200,000 to fund two Savi Scout Surgical Guidance Systems for the breast unit at St Albans City Hospital.

On Sunday 3 November 2024, we’re inviting you to take part in the Titty Trail, a special 11-mile fundraising trek in support of the breast cancer unit at St Albans City Hospital.

About the Event

Starting at Watford General Hospital, the trail follows the Abbey Line Trail, taking you from Watford Junction through scenic countryside to St Albans Abbey and finishing at St Albans City Hospital. Along the way, you’ll enjoy beautiful views and the company of fellow fundraisers, all coming together to raise funds for life-saving breast cancer treatment for our local community.

Why Walk?

Every step you take will help raise crucial funds for the breast cancer unit at St Albans City Hospital. Funds raised will help us purchase SAVI SCOUT® a state-of-the-art surgical guidance system that utilises radar technology to precisely target and remove cancerous tissue during breast surgery. We need £200,000 to fund the SAVI SCOUT system and other equipment for the breast cancer unit at St Albans City Hospital.
