The Tessa Jowell Foundation fundraises to give grants to expert-led projects at the Tessa Jowell Brain Cancer Mission, as well as for our own projects.

For example, the Mission's Tessa Jowell Centre of Excellence for Children initiative aims to make sure excellence is the standard of treatment for every child with a brain tumour in the UK. It recognises treatment centres that provide excellent treatment, care and research activities for children with brain tumours and their families, as well as provides centres with support to reach Excellence. The programme is the first of its kind, and it works with every paediatric neuro-oncology centre in the UK.
