Story

The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation - A charity for the whole community

During the first COVID-19 lockdown, many people were suddenly faced with new challenges and difficulties, with no resources to cope. The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation was initially established during this time. Since then, we have evolved into a multi-faceted charity with community at the heart of everything we do - providing a broad range of supportive welfare services to those in need

Our Services Include:

Food Support - We provide regular and emergency food parcels to over 60 local schools and other organisations.

Social Clubs - We run a range of weekly social gatherings, which target social isolation and wellbeing.

Schools Network - We support our network of 65 Northamptonshire schools with food parcels, breakfast boxes, and our Tech4Kids scheme.

Renovations - We provide room renovations and regular garden maintenance to households across Northamptonshire who may be struggling.

Learning Opportunities - We provide cookery classes and digital inclusion sessions to members of the community who may benefit.

Affordable Haircuts - We offer haircuts at a significantly reduced price for those in need.
