It exists to make these recordings widely accessible and to create a broader and deeper understanding of its content, inspiring new research and creative work, educational opportunities and community engagement.

We have a core team of 6 part-time members of staff all working to ensure that these recordings are available to the public via our website and that new recordings are regularly added. We also work on a range of outreach projects focussing particularly on communities and young people to help them engage with the culturally-rich range of recordings that are available on our site.

Annual funding for our work is not always guaranteed and the support of our users, no matter how small (or large!), is always welcome.
