Story

What is Torcher Parade?

The Torcher Parade is the largest student torch lit parade in Europe and one of the oldest student events in Aberdeen. Run by the Raising and Giving Campaign, this one of a kind event looks to raise money for local charities. The Parade along Union Street is led by a procession of lit torches, followed by lorries decorated by students from educational institutions in the city. This year marks the 129th year of the Torcher Parade and RAG are looking for you to get involved.
